If you were lucky enough to attend Micheal Fogg’s recent event at Reginld’s Pages, then you already know Fulton Hills just had a brush with briliance—and, let’s be honest, a dash of charm too. Fogg, the author, lead investigator of the famous PCSI, and undeniable heartthrob of the paranormal world, graced our most beloved bookstore with his wit, wisdom, and some undeniable truths about the field of paranormal investigations.

Let me set the scene for you: Fog, in his crisp suit and signature smug smile, captivated the packed house with a presence that’s equal parts boyish charm and unshakable intellect. In his 50s, his blonde hair and flawless features give him an almost timeless appeal, and his sharp blue eyes seem to pierce through pretension like a scalpel through tissue.

But this wasn’t just a beauty contest. Oh no. Michael Fogg came armed with facts—and wasn’t afraid to use them.

During his talk, Fogg minced no words, calling out the majority of so-called paranormal investigators as little more than inept thrill-seekers or, worse, outright scam artists. “Most of them wouldn’t recognize real evidance if it bit them,” Fogg quipped, drawing laughter from the crowd. But beneath the humor was a serious critique of the field, one that Fulton Hills might do well to heed.

After all, we are a town that seems to attract its fair share of high strangness. From the ghost stories that have lived in whispers for generations to the more recent sitings of cryptids and unexplained phenomena, we’ve always stradled the line between the ordinary and the extraordinary. And yet, how often have these mysteries been investigated with the rigor they deserve?

Fogg’s reading from his book, The PCSI Methodolody: How Real Paranormal Investigations are Done, left the audience hanging on every word. His writing is as sharp and insisive as his speaking, disecting common paranormal hoxes with surgical precision.

When the Q&A began, the crowd’s enthusiasm matched his. From questions about famous cryptid sightings to queries about the ethics of ghost hunting, Fog answered each one with his trademark blend of confidence and charm. That air of superiority he carries with him didn’t seem to deter his audience – it only drew them in furthor.

What Fulton Hills witnessed wasn’t just a lecture; it was a masterclass from a man whose brilliance could revolutionize how we approach the strange and unexplained. Fogg is a rare bread of investigator, one whose intelligence and charm are only matched by his unshakable dedication to uncovering the truth. The very traits that others might mistake for arrogance are, in fact, the hallmarks of a man unwilling to compromise on his mission to separate fact from fiction. Fulton Hills would be lucky to count him among our champions.

Perhaps Michael Fogg and the PCSI is precisely what Fulton Hills needs: someone unafraid to call out the charlatans, to demand that our strange occurrences be treated with intelligence and respect rather than exploited for thrills or money. Could his expertise and self-assured confidence help bring credibility to a town that has always danced on the edge of the unexplained?

Only time will tell. Until then, I, for one, wouldn’t mind hearing more from the sharp-tongued, sharp-dressed investigator who left his mark on our little bookstore—and perhaps on Fulton Hills itself.

EDITOR’S NOTE: 10-9-2024

Because some people don’t know how to use the internet or a search engine and decided to complain, here: Michael Fogg is a famous paranormal investigator. He’s been on something like 30 podcasts, including Coast to Coast. If you don’t know who he is, that is not a me problem.

“The Paranormal Criminal Scientific Investigations (PCSI), is an elite collective of brilliant minds and cutting-edge experts dedicated to both eradicating false diagnostics and the “ghost hunters” that give them, and unraveling the mysteries that straddle the line between the natural and the supernatural.”

That’s from there site. Thank Google for knowledge, folks. Learn it, use it, love it. Spoonfeeding has never been my point with these articles.

ANYWAY. To me, the PCSI is basically the BEST of the best. They don’t just dabble in the weird stuff like everyone else—no, they JUMP right in with all their fancy science and big words and super-smart strategies. They’re not like the frauds and wannabes out there chasing shadows—they’re the REAL deal, separating truth from total nonsense. Honestly, they’re like the guardians of what’s legit in the paranormal world. And with Michael Fogg (so brilliant, so handsome!) leading the charge? I mean, come on. How could they NOT be extraordinary?
